Running with Scissors

Drive AI agents through a million lines of code you did not write. Recon, surgical navigation, codemods, characterization tests, and a toolkit of four reusable skills you keep.
Time for the version that is going to make a few of you uncomfortable.
First move: I switch the model to Fable 5.1. If I am going to let this thing run unsupervised, I want the model most likely to not do something I regret. Second move: I do not make a new branch and start over. The plan is already sitting in docs/copilot-removal.md, the phases are laid out, we know what the work is. So the prompt is short. Go through and complete every phase. Do what you need to do. Do not merge anything into main. I am going to lunch and when I get back I want it all gone.
I know this is not the textbook move. But it is also my job to find out where these things break and how, and to spend the tokens doing what you might not be comfortable doing on your own repo. That is the deal here.
The check when I get back is specific. Since this is a removal, the diff should be nothing but file deletes and code coming out. What I am really looking for is anything added. Additions in a removal job are where I would start asking questions.
Recording paused. Lunch.
