A look at The AI Pro — one of the eleven courses inside

01Why bother

Most developers are using AI at half speed.

The tools are not the problem. Everyone has the same models, the same editors, the same subscription. The difference is whether you have a process or whether you are winging it, one prompt at a time.

Winging it
  • Prompting on instinct and hoping the output sticks
  • Context blown halfway through, work lost, starting over
  • Generated code you can read but would not sign your name to
  • Watching people ship in an afternoon what took you a week
With Premium
  • A repeatable workflow you run on purpose, not by feel
  • The CS underneath, so you catch the model when it is confidently wrong
  • Patterns for orchestration, review, and keeping slop out of main
  • Somewhere to ask when you are stuck, and get an answer from me
02The courses

Eleven full courses. All of them, today.

Not overview videos. Structured courses that go from the first prompt through orchestrated agents, and back down to the computer science holding it all up. Every one unlocks the minute you join.

03The video library

One topic, taken all the way down.

When a thing deserves an hour, it gets an hour. Eleven sessions in the library so far, and I add more every month. Real builds, real mistakes, nothing edited into a highlight reel.

04And the rest

The library is the start, not the whole thing.

The books

The Imposter's Handbook, A Curious Moon, and The Imposter's Roadmap. Yours to download, in every format, for as long as you are a member.

The Discord

Members-only channels where the questions get answered. I am in there most days, and so is everybody else working through the same material.

Live build sessions

We pick something real and build it together, live, mistakes and all. Every session is recorded and lands in the library if you cannot make it.

Everything new

Whatever I make next is already included. No launch pricing you missed, no upgrade path, no second checkout. It just shows up in your account.

05From members

What it does to the way you work.

Rob does not pretend to know everything, and there are still problems to solve in real life afterwards. But I have been able to take the foundations straight into my daily work. I feel more in control of the process I use with Claude, and I have been able to align it with the way I need to work.

JN
Jonas Nissen
Senior Programmer, Manager

Just got home from work where we did an AI hackathon with the HR department. It was a big success, and it made me realize what I have learned here. The process of interviewing, developing, and verifying is already so normal for me now. The discussions and experiences definitely prepared me for the AI era.

06Before you ask

The honest answers.

What happens right after I pay?

Stripe hands you back to Big Machine, your account is created or matched by email, and every course, video, and download is open. It takes seconds, not a support ticket.

Do I keep the books if I cancel?

The files you have downloaded are yours. The library, the videos, and the Discord close at the end of the term you paid for. Nothing is clawed back mid-year.

Is this a subscription or a one-time thing?

It renews yearly at $279 and you can cancel in one click from your account page. If you would rather own a single course outright, most of them are still sold on their own.

I already bought a course. Does that count?

It stays yours forever, membership or not. If you bought something recently and are about to join, email me at rob@bigmachine.io and I will sort it out.

How much of this is AI content?

A good half. The rest is the durable stuff: computer science, PostgreSQL, Rails, Elixir, frontend, career. The models change every six months. Those do not.

Can my company buy this for the team?

Yes. Email rob@bigmachine.io with a seat count and I will send an invoice your finance department will accept.
