Sit Back and Let It Wash Over You

A complete course for developers who are serious about making AI part of how they actually work.
This is the second version of The AI Pro. The first one was mostly Copilot with side trips into Gemini and a little Claude Code, and the world has moved on. Claude Code dominates now, and there's a lot more to learn: agentic orchestration, software factories, agentic councils. We cover all of it in this course, but not in the preamble.
This whole first module is the deep end. I move quickly because I know how to do this, and I want you to sit back and let it wash over you. See what it feels like, notice the things you've already done, and then we slow down and go methodically through building things. Along the way I'll show you how I rebuilt my GitHub profile and personal page (yes, I look like a real estate agent), how I built Kōlea, which started as a list service and became a full marketing platform, and you'll build Flatbed, the silly little app my family uses to race each other through Costco.
The first task is one a lot of you have: an older codebase you inherited or haven't touched in years. Mine is Moebius, an Elixir data access library I wrote a long time ago, last commit two years back, with vulnerable dependencies and a driver, Postgrex, that has sat below 1.0 for ten plus years and broken my versioning every time Ecto or Phoenix changed. I parked it out of frustration. Now I'm going to fix it, live and unrehearsed: interrogate the code, build a code map, make a plan, bring it up to date, then rip out Postgrex for an Erlang driver. That takes about an hour, and we talk about vibe coding on the way.
There are no prompts in this one. It's the tour before the work starts.
