You Are No Longer the Bottleneck

That's Moebius, revved to 5.0 live in front of you with no rehearsal. The process you watched is the one I actually use: investigate, play around, bring in some skills and a CLAUDE.md, then ask a more capable frontier model for a higher level review. It looks slicker, it has twice the tests, and the review found real bugs that are now fixed. I feel better about this library than any version I've pushed before.

I went fast on purpose, to give you the feel of working with AI. Multiple tabs and sessions running at once. The clear command at your fingertips so the context window stays clean and the model doesn't hallucinate. Thinking about which model to use for what. A code map so you don't burn tokens wandering an old codebase. A big improvised prompt dumped out on the fly. It might look ad hoc, and it wasn't: I made a plan and worked against it.

The accountability and control you used to carry inside yourself has morphed. You are no longer the bottleneck; your skill and capability are. Fable reviewed the code, added tests and made sure they work. You could have done that too, and it would have taken you a week. If that trade is fine for you and your company, hooray. For the rest of this course we work together, slowly, and I'll push you to do every task I do. We'll build up your acumen and start compiling a skill library you can use on every project, and I'll show you how I build skills and a CLAUDE.md. It's a big change, and you can make a masterpiece with it.
